The Witcher is part of a series of artworks inspired by Netflix Original films and series. The artwork combines contemporary Delft Blue ornamentation with cinematic storytelling, using mixed-media techniques and the painterly language of magical realism.

The Witcher is part of a series of artworks inspired by Netflix Original films and series. The artwork combines contemporary Delft Blue ornamentation with cinematic storytelling, using mixed-media techniques and the painterly language of magical realism.

The Witcher is based on the epic novels by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The painting was created during the production phase of the series so instead of the main protagonist Geralt of Rivia, the focus was on an iron Wolf symbol.

Surrounded by a monstrous full moon and a dark forest, the symbols gains an even more dramatic effect supporting folklore and mythology of The Witcher universe.
