What Students Are Saying

✯✯✯✯✯

“This class was amazing! You can immediately see the quality of this class, and it truly has everything. I loved the inspiration at the beginning, especially seeing other artists who use cats in such unique and creative ways.
It was so helpful to watch each technique as a separate piece before combining everything into the final artwork. And having one traditional demo and one digital demo was perfect.”
— Megan H.

“Cats and Flowers! What’s not to love about Anna’s class? Another tremendous class in Anna’s catalogue. This is a class you’ll want to watch multiple times.
As always, Anna walks you through an artist’s journey in both traditional watercolor and digital illustration — the very best of both worlds.
Beginners will enjoy beautifully edited lessons from sketch to final artwork, and more experienced artists can sit back and watch a master illustrator create pure ‘purr-fection.’
Thank you, Anna, for creating another spectacular class full of technique, whimsy, and inspiration.”
— Sharon Rego

“As always, it’s a pleasure to take Anna’s classes. I always end up feeling incredibly inspired. Plus — cats and flowers! What else could you ask for?
The class is divided into clear, concise lessons with thoughtful examples and easy-to-follow steps. There are two projects: one in watercolor/ink and one digital.
Obviously, I’ll be doing both.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Procreate to take this class?
Not necessarily. Procreate is demonstrated as one of the tools, but the class focuses on principles that apply equally to traditional and digital media. You can use any software or traditional tools. The digital illustration is painted in the second part of the class only.

Is this class suitable for beginners?
Yes. The class is accessible to beginners, while also offering depth and inspiration for experienced illustrators. If you’re a beginner, you’ll get an overview of what is possible, and if you’re an experienced artist, you’ll gain inspiration for your own creative practice.

Is the class more traditional or digital?
Both. I believe we should embrace the challenges of traditional art to grow as artists, and expand our creativity with modern tools. These two approaches can fuel each other. You’ll see inspiration from traditional techniques alongside digital approaches.

Is this a step-by-step tutorial?
All my classes include step-by-step demonstrations. However, they are not about copying a single image, but about learning how to think creatively and develop your own visual language. My hope is that you’ll gain valuable insight to bring into your own unique creative practice.
